Thomas Keating, Esq.Attorney Thomas Keating has actively practiced law for over 30 years, focusing on business and estate litigation and structure. Mr. Keating belongs to the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association Section on Real Property, the State Bar of Michigan Section on Probate and Estate Planning, the Macomb County Probate Bar and Bar Associations. He is the founder of the East Detroit Business Keeping Current Series as well as the East Side Business and Financial Forum and is a member of the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Detroit. and WealthCounsel, a national forum of estate, charitable and business planning professionals, and is a frequent speaker at estate planning forums around Michigan.

Mr.Keating is a frequent speaker on matters affecting business clients and members of the business industry.  Mr. Keating has spoken at various industry events for commercial lenders, construction companies, chambers of commerce, insurers, certified public accountants and legal professionals.

Mr. Keating has handled hundreds of court cases and arbitrations over the course of his career, in all courts from the court down the street to the United States Supreme Court.  He has spent about a full year of his life in proceedings including jury trial, bench trial or arbitration and many more preparing for and attending premliminary matters.

Mr. Keating has long been an "AV" rated (highest rating) attorney by Martindale Hubbell, the recognized national leader in attorney rating services. 

Mr. Keating is co-author of Strictly Business, book written for those facing business stucture challenges.
